Everything students need to know.

Muay Thai

Authentic striking with fists, elbows, knees, shins, clinch work, and conditioning.

  • Phase 1: Muay Thai Bag Class, a one-hour high-intensity no-contact workout and prerequisite for Muay Thai classes.
  • Phase 2: Muay Thai Fundamentals with partner training, light contact, pad work, structured drills, timing, agility, and practical application.
  • Phase 3: Advanced Muay Thai with technical rounds, strategy, conditioning, and competition preparation.
Bag Class: 14-16 oz boxing gloves and hand wraps. Fundamentals: 16 oz gloves, wraps, shin guards, HOMT or solid color shirt, and Muay Thai apparel. Advanced: 16 oz gloves, wraps, shin guards, mouth guard, groin protection for men, HOMT or solid color shirt, and Muay Thai shorts.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Gi-based grappling built around leverage, positional control, escapes, and submissions.

  • Covers conditioning, technique drilling, tournament-specific techniques, and competition mindset.
  • Accessible for students whether they aspire to compete or not.
Required gear: Gi.

MMA

Integrated striking and grappling for athletes ready to connect ranges.

  • MMA Striking integrates punches, kicks, knees, elbows, footwork, angles, defense, takedown setups, and takedown defense.
  • MMA Wrestling covers cage wrestling, grappling, fence control, takedowns, shot defense, transitions, escapes, and pressure.
  • Recommended for students with basic striking experience.
Striking: 7 oz MMA gloves, shin guards, mouth guard, groin protection. Wrestling: 7 oz MMA gloves.

Submission Grappling

No-gi ground work with pressure, control, and submission-focused rounds.

  • Students work on control, positional advancement, submissions, defense, and escapes under pressure.
  • Builds ground control, awareness, and submission mastery.
No-gi / MMA-specific class.

Children’s Martial Arts

Ages 6-13 with focus, respect, confidence, movement, and practical technique.

  • Includes practical Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique.
  • Designed to help children carry strong values into school, home, and life.
Equipment package: gloves, shin guards, Muay Thai shorts, HOMT t-shirt, and gi.

Competition Team

A focused room for athletes pursuing tournaments, fight camps, and performance goals.

  • Students are encouraged but not forced to compete.
  • Interested students are directed to speak with Coach Jake or Professor Mackens.
  • The live site highlights UFC women's flyweight Miranda "fear the" Maverick.
Competition readiness depends on the chosen discipline and coach approval.

Strength & Conditioning

Performance training for power, speed, durability, and athletic carryover.

  • Personalized workout plans tailored to individual goals and sport demands.
  • Covers six functional movement patterns to build power, speed, agility, endurance, and resilience.
  • Designed for athletes and first-time trainees chasing competition success or peak fitness.
